Good morning everybody. My name is Roxana, I am Rumanian and I come from Brasov, a beautiful town located on the Carphatian Mountains. I have been in Italy since 2007. I have had several jobs until I was employed at the ticket counter of Venaria Reale Palace. Why have I chosen Italy? I have come here because I was in love with my husband and I have decided to follow him. When I arrived in Italy, I could not speak Italian, but I have learnt it quite quickly thanks to my family, my friends and my colleagues, so I could start working and being independent. I first worked as a cleaning lady and then I worked at Porta Palazzo selling bread. Thanks to these jobs, I have started knowing people and their habits. Porta Palazzo has shown me new cultures, religions and cuisines that I had never tried back in my country, but at the same time it has allowed me feeling at home thanks to all Rumanian products and all my fellow citizens who work in this large market.
