I am Brazilian but I have German origins, so, until I married an Italian-Brazilian citizen, I’ve had problems with my surname : typically German ! I used to work with my husband in a joiner’s workshop in Brazil, at the beginning restoring small furniture, and then making skateboards. I have always enjoyed manual labour and handicraft.
Here in Italy I have worked for five years as a seamstress in a firm making kitchens and backs of strollers. At the moment I dedicate myself to my grandchild, who uses up much of my time!
