Hola a todos! My name is Fernanda and I am originally from Ecuador but I’ve been living in the Province of Milan for 7 years. I consider myself to be a person always in search of new intercultural experiences, especially thanks to my friends and companions at the “Scuola di Babele”, a school I’ve been attending for the past 2 years, which teaches Italian to foreigners living and working in Italy. I volunteer at the ethnic dinners that the school organises. I love learning new languages, like Portuguese which I am learning thanks to my Brazilian girlfriends, and Arabic, which I find very intriguing. Even though I don’t live in Milan, I visit regularly to walk and get to know better this city that I am passionate about. For this reason I decided to be an intercultural companion and to show that everybody can contribute something new, interesting and enjoyable to our experience of life.
