I am Anna Maria Katarina. I have three names and I think I also have three hearts: Italian; Polish; and the third for whatever nation takes me in. My passion for languages began when I was little: my Mum comes from Poland (from Poznan) while my father is Italian. My Mum decided to speak to me in Polish and so it became my first language. I learned English, French, Spanish, Russian and Chinese. I truly love languages. I think that to know a language well, you need to know the culture of the country where it is spoken. This is what I study in Milan, which enables me to get to know close-up the cultures of far-off countries.
