From 10 to 14 September 2025, the Migration Festival took place in Turin, with the theme “the heart beyond the obstacle.” Through art, theatre, cinema, debates, and walks, the Festival gives a voice to those who cross geographical and cultural borders. The Festival was created to build a new narrative capable of overcoming stereotypes and divisions, and to promote encounters between cultures as a response to fear and indifference, recognizing diversity as a resource for imagining the future together.
Among the many events was the Migrantour walk in Porta Palazzo on 13 September, led by Monica and Adriana, our intercultural guides, who in two hours helped participants rediscover Turin through different eyes. Two hours of sharing and storytelling to highlight the contribution of migration, to foster dialogue between cultures, and to sow the seeds for building an increasingly inclusive society together.
And here is the TG3 report: Rediscovering Turin with different eyes at the Migration Festival.
