Did you know that my city was founded by the Tsar Peter the Great in 1703, that he wanted to build a \u2018Venice of the North\u2019 so he commissioned Italian architects?<\/p>\n<p>When I left my hometown, my country was going through a period of big social and political changes, and life became even more difficult. Therefore, I came here because I thought that things in Italy were going better. Moreover I was fascinated by the Italian sun and art. When I finished university in my country I kept on studying in Italy, attending various courses.
